​Cosafa U-20: Uganda hands hosts Zambia shock defeat

Uganda Cranes managed a shock 2-0 win over an inexperienced Zambia side in the 2017 Mopani U-20 Cosafa Cup first round match played at Arthur Davis Stadium today.
Striker Shaban Muhammad scored 2 second half goals in quick succession in the 52nd and 56th Minute to stun the capacity home crowd in Kitwe.

Zambia failed to recover despite heroics from captain Prince Mumba pulling the strings in Midfield.

Shaban was denied a hat-trick after he was adjudged to have fouled the Zambian goalkeeper.

The Ugandans comfortable winners in the end and shoot to the summit of Group A.
