South Africa’s Victor Gomes has been given the nod by CAF to take charge of the 2019 Afcon qualifier between the Waliyas of Ethiopia and Black Stars of Ghana. Soka25east.com can comfirm

The 35-year-old referee will be assisted on the lines by compatriots – Zakhele Siwela and Johannes Moshidi.

Victor Hlungwani will serve as the fourth referee.

The crucial encounter will come off at the Addis-Ababa National Stadium on November 18 at – 1300 GMT.

Ghana thrashed Ethiopia 5-1 on the opening day of the qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on June 11, 2017.

Ghana sit 3rd in Group F with 3 points from two games, one and four points behind Kenya and Ethiopia, who occupy the 1st and 2nd respectively after four games.
