Ghana have been pitted in Group B against Senegal, Mali and Burkina Faso for the 2019 African U-20 Cup of Nations (Afcon).
The draw took place at Entre Technique de la Fenifoot in Niamey on Thursday, Dec 13, 2018.
The Black Satellites defeated Benin 4-2 over two legs in August to qualify for next year’s championship.
The three-time champions will be based in the city of Maradi.
Group A has host, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa and Burundi. They will be residing in the city of Niamey.
The 15th edition of the Biennial Youth Football Championship is scheduled for Feb 2-17, 2019.
The competition will also serve as qualifiers to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland later in the year. Four teams will represent the continent.
