Ethiopian Premier League newly promoted side Addis Ababa City FC has sent an official invitation to Kataka Geofrey Omusula for trials.

In a letter addressed to Kenyan Premier League side Posta Rangers FC and seen by Soka25east.com, the Addis club is requesting for two weeks leave for the player to facilitate the assessment.

“We are kindly requesting that you send us the mentioned player “Geofrey Kataka” for trials with us for a period of two weeks.” The letter stated in part.

The former Ushuru FC and AFC Leopards player, is a proven attacking midfielder with a keen eye for goal; he was a key figure in Ushuru’s promotion to the Kenyan top league KPL in 2014, scoring crucial goals for the Coach Ken Kenyatta side.

His exploits that year and subsequently saw him earn call ups to the national team “Harambee Stars”. He was however slowed down by a nagging injury that he has fully recovered from, and he is ready to impress again.

Kataka gloried God for the opportunity to try out with Addis FC;

“Never underestimate the power of the living God:thank u sir!”
