New entrance in the FIFA lists of countries South Sudan have made history by winning their first CAF match in an African Cup Qualifier match against 2015 hosts equatorial Guinea.
The new nation beat Equitorial Guinea 1-0 in Juba in a Group C match courtesy of Atuak Lual goal in the 52nd minute.
They join Mali at the top of group C . Mali confront Benin tomorrow in Bamako.
