AFCON 2017: Sam Nyamweya – Come rally behind Harambee Stars against Chipolopolo, it’s our heritage

Kenya FA president Sam Nyamweya has called on all Kenyans to turnout in large numbers to support Harambee Stars against Zambia.

He is assuring tight security on the day, saying it will be a family day out.

Kenya takes on Chipolopolo of Zambia in the AFCON qualifier on Sunday 6, at the Nyayo Stadium, Nairobi.

“Everybody right from the president of the country, the deputy president and the cabinet secretaries, the right honorable the former prime minister Raila Odinga, we want all Kenyans to be one and rally behind the national team, this is our heritage,” he told Soka25east.com

“The security will be first class like never before. We have done our best bringing all the 16 foreign based players, with the last to arrive being goalkeeper Arnold Origi and the mood in the camp is very high.” He concluded.

A win for Stars could take them to the top of group “E” with four points and the FA supremo is leaving nothing to chance to ensure that happens.

Sam visited Stars’ training camp at Nyayo this morning as they continue with preparations for the crucial tie. Their opponent Chipolopolo is expected to arrive today from Ndola in Zambia.
