Taifa Stars Coach Benjamin Mkwassa has released a team of 20 for their dead rubber AFCON qualifier against Nigeria on September 2 away.

Mbwana Samatta, the leading top scorer for KRC Genk in the Belgium Pro League with 4 goals is the only foreign based pro in the squad. The former TP Mazembe dreaded striker has been in top form for Genk in both the Europa League qualifiers and in the league, where he has made scoring a routine.

His former teammate at the African Champions, Thomas Ulimwengu who has been nursing an injury is a notable absentee in the list.
