AFCON U23:Young Chipolopolo on the road to Rio.

The U23 AFCON in Senegal Kicks off Today with Hosts Senegal taking on south Africa at 18:00hrs and then at 20:00hrs CAT Zambia take on Tunisia.

The young Copper Bullets have set RIO2016 as their target as the top 3 teams from the Senegal U23 AFCON gains instant qualification to the Olympic games in RIO next year.Its not as easy as it sounds but the task at hand is a huge one.

The Team underwent their last training session last evening ahead of this evenings crunch encounter against Tunisia at 19:45 Zambian Time.Team Captain Toaster Nsabata said in an interview that the boys are focused on the RIO2016 dream.

Former Nkana Football Club goal Porcher Ronald ”Sate Sate ” Kampamba joined the team and took part in last evenings training session.Armenian Based Lubambo Musonda is expected to miss the game and will only join the team in good time for the second game against South Africa.The Wing Wizard will miss the game due to Club engagements but took to Facebook to wish his team mates good luck.

The team has clean bill of health according to team doctor, Dr Mwila.Zambia plays South Africa on Tuesday before taking on the hosts Senegal.Zambia has not qualified to the Olympics since 1988 when the Current FAZ President Kalusha Bwalya was playing.
