By Obiweluozo Martins,

The Premier League returns as teams set their sight for the big one after some midweek actions coupled with some transfer issues making the round at the moment.

However, as usual some of Africa finest players will be on show in arguably the best the League in Europe (probably in terms of world coverage) as the season continues this weekend.

There are mouth-watering games involving African star in the Premier League as each player (individual) are set to file out for their respective teams when hostilities begin this weekend.

With an action parked weekend to come our way from the Premier League, we take a look at some of Africa’s brightest talents/spot doing their thing in Europe.

Chelsea Vs Leicester City

This game obviously involves some of the notable African players as the match is a battle between the League Champions (Chelsea) and former (League) Champions (Leicester City).

At Stamford Bridge Riyad Mahrez’s inspired Leicester City will face Nigeria and Chelsea wing back Victor Moses as both players come in contention during the course of the tie.

All eyes will be fixed on star man Mahrez as the Algerian is linked to Liverpool as a potential replacement for departed Brazilian and Anfield star Philippe Coutinho.

The likes of Wilfred Ndidi will be expected to feature at the base of Leicester’s midfield while teammates Ghana’s Daniel Amartey will likely start the game from the bench as we hope that our African stars makes their mark each in this game.

Crystal Palace Vs Burnley

The likes of Bakary Sako and Ivorian sensation Wilfred Zaha will face a stern home test against Burnley at home as they continue their revival in the course of the campaign.

Shaun Dyches and his Burnley side has been impressive season as they have haunted the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool at home in the first half of the season.

However, with the talent of the African stars at their disposal, Crystal Palace will have some hope going into the fixture bearing in mind their ability to make things happen or possible snatch the win away from their opponent nose towards the end of a game.

Tottenham Hotspur Vs Everton

This presents an African combat (affair) as the quartet of Serge Aurier, Victor Wanyama, Oumar Niasse and Idrissa Gana Gueye are set to feature in the clash.

However, with Spurs fine form coupled with Harry Kane superb run in front of goal, the Everton side and the Senegalese duo of Oumar Niasse and Gana Gueye must be at their best if they are to stand a chance against Serge Aurier’s Tottenham Hotspurs side.

The game will probably see Victor Wanyama seat at the base of the midfield for host Tottenham with the sole intention of breaking Everton attacking play in the course of the contest.

Liverpool Vs Manchester City
