By Alfred Jones,

Kenyan national womens team striker Esse Akida striker gave a sterling performance as she guided Speedag Fc to a 3:0 victory against hosts Mombasa Olympic in the last match of the women’s Premier league.

Speedag controlled proceedings from the start and their efforts paid off when Kenyan international Sharon Bushenei latched on to a goal mouth scramble between Olympic defenders and Esse Akida to put the ball behind the net.

Kenyan international Esse Akida came back to haunt Olympic when he scored a screamer from outside the 18 yards and later set up an easy tap in for fellow international Wendy Achieng to complete the route in the first half.

Mombasa Olympic came back strong from the interval ,with with Kenyan international Dogo leading the onslaught but the Speedag defence stood tall to ensure a 3:0 victory.
