Algeria’s ligue 1 side USM Alger have set up base  in Kenya  quietly ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup group D match away to Rayon sports of Rwanda later this month.

The team arrived in the country on Sunday and will be putting up at the Intercontinental hotel for the next 10 days before leaving for Kigali on Monday for the match scheduled for Wednesday at Kigali stadium.

During their preparations,the Algeria’s side USM Alger are set to benefit from their Nairobi’s climate which is similar to that of Kigali(1700 metres above the sea level).The team will also participate in a friendly match against the Kenyan side Sofapaka FC on 11th July at Camp Toyoyo Grounds from 6pm.

USM Alger were in Kenya in June and they drew with Kenyan premier league champions Gor Mahia at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi.
