South Africa U20  national  team (Amajita) have secured thier first international friendly. Amajita will lock horns with fellow Southern African representatives at this years U20 AFCON, Zambia on 8th February.

Zambia on the other hand will have already played three high profile friendlies as they are expected to face Athletico Madrid,Barcelona and Real Madrid youth teams on their training  tour of Spain.

Amajita head coach Thabo Senong is excited with the development and wants to build on from where he left off last year.

“We intend to have a few international friendly matches before we begin the tournament, and we are glad to have secured our first international friendly against Zambia. We will be using this friendly to build on the momentum of the last year, but mainly to adapt to the climate of Ndola,” Senong told Safa.net.

Amajita will be looking for a great confidence booster and revenge when they face Zambia on Wednesday, 8 February 2017 following their 2-1 loss to the young Chipolopolo in the 2016 U20 COSAFA Cup final.

The match will be played at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, in Ndola and kick-off is scheduled for 20h00.
