Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia FC in conjunction with JTH consulting Limited has today (Thursday) released the first ever football club app in East Africa “Gor Mahia FC Official Funclub”.
The app is available on all smart phones and devices across all platforms. It will feature all the latest team news, videos and scores streamed live to fans phones and web enabled devices including smart TVs, tablets etc.
In order to enjoy the features, users will be required to make a contribution of Kshs 100 after every six months. Payment is supported by all manner of mobile and online payments e.g MPESA, Airtel Money, Pesapal as well as card payments via VISA, MasterCard.
In future, fans will be able to get Gor Mahia FC official merchandise with access to a mobile friendly online retail stores straight from the app.
The app is available globally so the club will be able to reach to fans in the diaspora. Above all it gives the club a wider forum for “Crowd-funding” as the club continues on the path to financial independence.
The club also launched “Gor Mahia Bread” yesterday.
