Kajiado County’s laiser Hill are the Airtel Rising stars metropolitan champions after seeing off a determined Olympic High school of Nairobi County 2-1.

A brace from Julius Oketch on the 2nd and 37th minutes were all the defending champions needed to win the title and represent the region in the National secondary championships slated for kisumu next month.

Laiser Hill qualified for the finals after stopping hosts and former champions Upper Hill 5-3 on penalties after the two teams had settled for a 1-1 draw.

Olympic High school on the other hand defeated Brother Bassaung to reach the finals.

Before the finals, Brother Bassaung had beaten Upper Hill 2-1 to settle for the third place.

The final was a repeat of the group phase where Laiser Hill beat Olympic 2-0.

Laiser Hill will now join Barding of Lake Region, Friends School Bukembe of Nzoia Region ,Green Palms of Mombasa and others in the nationals that begin on 1st August 2016

In the girls category Olympic beat Matuu Memorial 2-1 to retain the title.

And in Mombasa Region Green Palms High school will represent the region after edging Shimba Hils 3-0 in the boys category while St Johns Kaloleni will represent the region in the girls category after stopping Kwale Girls 7-0
