This years National secondary ball games girls final will be between Wiyeta against St Johns Kaloleni Girls of Malindi .

This was after Wiyeta thumped Nyakach Girls with St Johns beating Nginda 5-4 on post match prnalties .

The match between Wiyeta and Nyakach began at a slow pace with leading scorer Misimbi Judith shooting wide in the first attempt

Nyakach’s Akinyi Cynthia and Airo Mercy combined well with a one two pass but their efforts went to waste with just five minutes into the match

Musimbi Judith came close once again after receiving a through pass from Stella Anyango as Wiyeta began raid after raid

With 20 minutes gone both teams had settled in the match and were evenly matched

In the 21st minute ,Airo Mercy with only the keeper to beat could have given Nyakach the lead but his effort was parried away for a corner .

Three minutes later Musimbi dodged herself between Nyakach defenders to the applause of the fans with his final touch easily picked by the keeper .

The moment of joy came for Wiyeta in the 21st minute ,A solo effort by enterprising Judith Musimbi easing past Nyakach defenders found Nyakach’s keeper shell shocked with the ball rolling towards the net for a 1-0 lead

The first half ended 1-0

in the second half ,Nyakach coach did a quick subsitution bringing on Idda Odingo for Teresia Lundu in the as second half began

Wiyeta made matters beyond Nyakach’s reach when a move created by Martha Karani found Anyango Stella in a scoring position sending the keeper the wrong way

Coach Wycliff Juma brought in Juma Velma for Akinyi Lenza as desperation began catching up with the Nyakach players

Nyakach could have reduced the defeceit when Cynthia Akinyi had only the keeper to beat but his hard shot was saved by Diana Tembesi who has so far not conceded any goal in the entire tournament

Wiyeta coach Edgar Manyara brought on Jepkomoi Jackline for Musembi Judith perharps to keep her for the finals

In the other semi final match captain Rachael Mwema scored early in the first half but Amina Randu equalized late in the second half to send the match to extra time .

With no goals in the extra time the match went straight to penalties

In the penalties ,St John missed one while Nginda missed two.
