Ugandan midfielder Khalid Aucho is trying out with Scotland Premiership side Dundee FC.

Khalid, 24, is a free agent after parting with Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade at the close of his six-month deal this month.

The former Gor Mahia (Kenya) and Baroka (South Africa) midfield anchor played for the Dark Blues’ under-20 side against Hearts last night.

Before signing Red Star from Baroka February this year, Khalid successfully tried out with Abardeen but failed to agree on transfer fee.

Capped 32 times by the Uganda Cranes, he has continued to play a big role in the team.

He was a cog in Cranes’ 2017 Afcon campaign in which they qualified for after 39 years’ wait.

Dundee, formed 124 years ago play their home matches at 11,506 capacity Dens Park in Dundee, Scotland.
