Augustin Senghor was yesterday reelected Senegal Football Federation president for a third term.

Senghor garnered 234 of 413 votes in the second round of voting to edge Mbaye Diouf Dia who came second with 104 votes and Louis Lamotte who finished third with 76 votes.

No candidate managed constitutionally required 277 votes for a first round victory.

Senghor will now be able to rollout “horizon football” a strategic long term plan for greater growth of Senegalese football which he promised during the campaigns.
