From division one to second on the log after Four games that the story of Lusaka Tigers.The Matero based team seems set to stay in the super League .Well on Sunday they will face their biggest test this far as they host the log leaders Nkana who are on a 4 game winning streak.

The log Leaders nkana have won 4 out of 4 games and have amassed 12 points. They have managed to score 9 goals and only conceeded 3giving them a +6 goal difference. Former Mufurila Wanderers Midfield Maestro Jacob Ngulube and Former Forest Rangers man Walter Bwalya have scored three goals each with Simon Bwalya ,Tsoutra Shimenga and Shadreck Musonda Scoring one apace.Some still feel Nkana are yet to face a real test as they are yet to play Power,Zanaco and Zesco .They have faced Nkwazi, Mufurila Blackpool,Green Eagles and Kabwe Warriors.

Lusaka Tigers “Matero’s Pride” has also played 4 games winning two ,drawing one and losing the other.The team from metro City will be relishing their chances against the record 12 times Champions.According to several sources Lusaka Tigers Respect Nkana but will not fear them and are confident of pulling a surprise victory.

” We have a secret weapon this weekend but I can’t reveal” Lusaka Tigers Coach Chanda Mwape speaking on Radio Phoenix yesterday.Mwape seems set to mastermind Nkana’s first loss of the season and for a team that just came from division 1, it will be a big motivation which can help the teams confidence going forwad.

If Coach Mwape and his team manage to pull off a surprise they will reduce the gap to just two points while Nkana can increase their advantage to 6 or more points depending on other results if they beat Tigers. Whatever the results the one thing clear is that we will be in for an epic encounter which will be live on supersport on tomorrow [ sunday april 10].
