The 2017 soccer season is up and running and apart from the players and technical team there is a group of people that will always carry the team with them!! These are the fans !!!

Our Fan of the week this week is Nissy! A Red Arrows fan who actually coined the term #Pusha Pusha….. She also rums a Red Arrows WhatsApp Group and Facebook Group!!!
*******************
We talk to her today as our fan of the week:

BM: A brief about Nissy!!
Nissy: Nissy is just an ordinary Young Lady nothing so interesting about her apart from being a Soccer Freak.

BM: Just how did you start supporting Red Arrows ?
Nissy:I started starting Supporting Red Arrows in 2013 and I just can’t belief how amazing it has been since then. I have travelled all the way from Lusaka to Ndola to watch Zambia National Team and was shocked that I had never watched my young brother play football who plays for Red Arrows (Evans Musonda) until I tried. since then I have always been a Red Arrows Fan.

BM: People say Red Arrows is one of those clubs that is boring! How do you manage that view of point?

Nissy: (Laughs) I aways hear that term “Boring. But I will say that only pipo who have not taken so much time to watch my beloved team can say its boring but hey! Us the real fans we always see our team so exciting to watch weather boring or not we always keep it #Pushapusha.. So on my part I am used to such terms.

BM: As a fan, the only time we know of this team lifting the league title was in 2004. what do you think is a contributing factor?

Nissy: Well a lot has happened with our team, change of coaches, Injuries etc! I will say it’s not easy to win the league title minus working hard and most importantly teamwork…not all days are Sundays.. We keep the faith our time will come!!!

BM: Let’s fast forward to 2017 season! How would do you describe your team this season so far and what do you want to see?
Nissy: Well Bwezani, this season I will humbly and proudly say my team is back with a bang. This season won’t be like last season were we struggled so much! The players are putting in so so much effort, a lot of hard work and a lot of teamwork and with our new coach “Honor Janza who means serious Business. My team is perfectly shaped. I have already started seeing what’s supposed to be done! Starting from the bottom (laughs).. We good to go.

BM: What games do you look forward to or rather what is the most interesting fixture you always look out for with your team?

Nissy: I so much look forward to about three games. Red Arrows vs City of Lusaka, Red Arrows vs MMufulira Wanderers and Red Arrows vs Buildcon.. and the most interesting game I look forward to is Red Arrows vs Zesco..

BM: What about your worst fixture?
Nissy: My worst fixture this Season which will be interesting at the same time is Red Arrows vs Zesco.. This team makes my heart bump (Zesco) they are super great.

BM: Do you have any favourite player? Would you mind sharing?

Nissy: Wow, Bwezani don’t do this to me!!!How do I even pick a favourite player among my Red Arrows!!! favorite player ummmmm. OK most pipo would say I pick my brother as my favorite player but its somehow true on my part he is but not sidelining the others Everyone in the team is super special I call them my babies they are my favorites just the entire team so am not choosy coz all of them makes them #RedArrows Team!!!

BM: Where do you see the team ending at this season?
Nissy: According to my own observation, looking at how many teams this league has this season, it will be a tough one but I foresee our team in top 4.. Very much positive about that unless otherwise.

BM: Which teams do you think will be relegated?
Nissy: ummmm the league just started so it’s not easy to say who will be relagated as at now. It’s tricky.

BM: Red Arrows fans are also refered to as the most or one of the disorganised fans. Your message to Red Arrows fans!

Nissy: Well everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. I may not know the whole fan base of My team but I will kind of disagree on that statement Bwezani….And to my fellow fans out there I would encourage each one of us to show more massive support to our team despite the critisim. A lot gets to be said bout our team but hey the team needs our Support 100%. As I always say we keep on supporting our people’s team that plays people’s Football. #Pushapusha all the way.

BM: You run a Red Arrows Whatsapp group and and a Facebook Group. What is the experience like?

Nissy: ummmm Its not really that easy but it’s just something that I thought I shud do for the love of my Team and just to show them how proud I am to be part of the Red Arrows Family.. The experience is kind of hard a little because I need to update the fans each and every time on the happenings of our team be it on and off season! But its great I love it and I enjoy it! Those who would love to be in our WhatsApp group are free to join only if you are 100% Red Arrows

BM: Your last remarks
Nissy: #Thank u so much for having me as your fan of the week Bwezani my fellow Red Arrows fan bro. I so much appreciate it big time. To the soccer lovers out there let’s enjoy this league to the fullest, to my Beloved team my Babies #Red Arrows let’s keep Pushing, let’s keep on playing the people’s game and put more extra work we need to get there just like we always start from the bottom to up there above all lets keep the faith. To my fellow fans let’s keep on with the massive support we show to our team let’s show up in numbers to watch and support our team wen we can. Let’s Enjoy the league this season much love. #PushaPushaRedArrowsForKeeps.
