Botswana FA appoints Interim head coach Mogomotsi Mpote

Following the announcement that the BFA and the former Senior National Team (Zebras) head coach have parted ways and the subsequent dissolution of the entire technical team, the BFA wishes to inform
the public that it has appointed the following on interim basis:

1. Mogomotsi Mpote as Interim Head Coach
2. Rapelang Tsatsilebe as Interim Assistant Head Coach
3. Modiri Marumo as Interim Goalkeeper Coach

Mr Mpote has served as a head coach for various clubs within the BFA structures including at the elite league. He has been involved with various clubs such as Miscellaneous and Township Rollers. He is currently the Caretaker head coach of Orapa United. Mr Mpote has also been involved with junior national teams including being the head coach of the national under 23 team, a position which he currently holds.

Mr Tsatsilebe has been involved with various clubs within the BFA structures such as Gaborone United, Sharps Shooting Stars and Taung Young Strikers where he is currently coaching.

Mr Marumo is a former national team goalkeeper who has also plied his trade in the Egyptian and South African Elite Leagues. He is an experienced goalkeeper coach, having held the position at Boy United of South Africa and currently out Jwaneng Galaxy in the Botswana Premier League.
