Burkina Faso edged Cameroon 1-0 in an International friendly played at Pierre Brisson de Beauvais Paris, France Sunday.

The Stallions scored the lone goal through Bertrand Traore in the 64th minute.

The Indomitable Lions wasted a glorious opportunity to restore order in the 78th minute as substitute Njie Clinton of Olympique de Marseilles missed from the spot.

The last meeting of the two sides was in Gabon during the 2017 AFCON, a game that ended in a 1-1 tie.

In their previous warm-ups last month, Burkina Faso lost 0-2 to Kosovo with Cameroon beating Kuwait 3-1.

Both teams are preparing for the 2019 AFCON qualifier matches which resume in September this year.

Cameroon are currently ranked 50th in the world  while Burkina Faso the Stallions are 54th in the global index.
