Burundi U20 outsmarted by Nigeria Flying Eagles

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles had to use their skills to outscore the “grown men” Burundi paraded in an U20 AFCON qualifier in Bujumbura, officials said.

Chukwudi Agor’s second-half strike proved to be the difference between the two teams on Saturday.

However, accompanying official Sunday Okayi said the youthful Flying Eagles had to make the most of their skills to dominate the game against “the grown men” Burundi played.

The return leg match will be played on June 11 in Calabar with the overall winners setting up a clash with Sudan for a place at the final tournament in Zambia next year.
