Defending CAF Confederations Cup Champions TP Mazembe are through to this year’s group phase.

The DR Congo giants held Algerian side JS Kabylie to a barren in Algeria on Sunday to sail through on 2-0 aggregate.

Mazembe managed the game well, standing tall in the face of a barrage of attacks from JSK, who were determined to score.

Ivory Coast keeper Vincent Gbohouo worked overdrive to keep the scoreline tidy.

Meschak Elia had his goal ruled out for an off side.

The draws for the group stage will take place in Cairo, Egypt next month.
