Angola’s Petro de Luanda, Al Masry(Egypt) Simba(Tanzania) and Cape Town City(SA)

AS Port Louis of Mauritius secured a 4-1 home win over Comoros’ Ngazi Sport – thanks to a hat-trick from Ludovic Lafoudra – to advance 5-2 on aggregate.

Petro de Luanda eliminated Malawi’s Masters Security 5-0 aggregate after goalless draw while Egypt’s Al Masry were beaten 2-1 by Zambian side Green Buffaloes, but still won the tie 5-2 overall.

Congo’s CS La Mancha trounced AS Tanda of the Ivory Coast 1-0 to take their tie by the same aggregate score, while Rwanda’s APR and Tanzania’s Simba won away from home to add to already convincing aggregate scores against Anse Reunion (6-1) and Gendarmeri Nationale (5-0).

Equatorial Guinea’s Deportivo Niefang won 1-0 at home to Cameroonian side New Star to draw the tie 2-2 on aggregate but advance on away goals, while Algerian side CR Belouizdad defeated Onze Createurs 2-0 on the day and 3-1 overall.

Benin’s Energie scoring a late equaliser to draw 1-1 away to Guinean club Haifa and secure a surprise 2-1 aggregate triumph, while South African debutants Cape Town City defeated Swaziland’s Young Buffaloes 1-0 on the night and 2-0 overall.

Tuesday’s 10 aggregate winners join US Ben Guerdane and Djoliba – who both enjoyed walkovers – in the first round, which will be played next month
