Misheck Chaila returns for Zesco United on their away trip to Alexandria,Egypt in the 5th round of the CAF champions league where mighty Al Ahly await.

The lanky midfielder whose combination with Kenyan international Anthony Agay Akumu at the heart of the Coach George Lwandamina’s midfield has received plaudits in the competition was suspended in the last round away to Asec Mimosas in Abidjan due to accumulated yellow cards.

His return for the reverse leg against the 8 time champions and the club of the century, the “Red Devils”, is a great moral booster for “Team ya Ziko”. He was pivotal in the 3-2 first leg win in Ndola in June as he engineered most offensive moves with his pin point long passes.

Striker Jackson Mwanza and defender Duet Musekwa, both who made it to CAF best eleven in round four are also in the 17 man squad which departs for Egypt Tuesday.

Idris Mbombo, one of the leading top scorers in the competition with five goals will also make the trip and so is Kenyan danger man and the leading joint top scorer in the Zambian super league Jesse Jackson Were.

A double against the Martin Jol’s men guarantees a semi-final berth for Zesco with 10 points.

The match will be staged at Borg EL Arab Stadium in Alexandria on Friday 12.
