Home fans, largely believed to be those of Rayon Sports, turned out in big numbers this morning to watch Tanzania heavyweights Yanga SC go through their paces at FERWAFA’s training facility in Kigali, Rwanda.

Yanga face host APR FC in a much hyped CAF Champions league round two, first leg clash at the Amahoro Stadium tomorrow (Saturday 11).

Rayon Sports are bitter rivals of APR and as expected their fans will be behind the “enemy” as explained by Radio Isango Star Presentor Bigirimana Augustin.

-The fans of Rayon Sports, the       bitter rivals of APR, have declared to be behind Yanga.

-There’s also a group of Yanga fans who jetted into Rwanda yesterday to come cheer their their team.

Yanga is also the home of Rwanda national team captain Haruna Niyonzima; all these explain the warm support and the Buzz around the team.

Not to say APR are lacking support ahead of the crunch tie,NO – the Soldiers also held a fan-packed training session at the venue of the match (Amahoro) yesterday, and was attended by Rwanda football officials.

The Chairman, Gen. James Kabarebe who is also the defense minister of Rwanda, as well as FERWAFA President Nzamwita Vincent have been visiting the camp to urge them on.
