Cameroon 2019 AFCON day two qualifiers fixtures have been rescheduled for 3-11 September 2018, CAF has confirmed.

Initially, the ties were slotted for 19-27 March 2018 but were postponed to allow the five Africa’s World Cup qualifiers to use the FIFA window to prepare for the global showpiece.

Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Nigeria and Senegal will fly Africa’s flag at the 2018 World Cup to be hosted by Russia.

CAF has moved to set up a committee to come up with ways to support the five to do well in Russia.

As a continent, Africa has never gone past the quarters at the biggest football arena a situation they want to improve on in Russia.
