South Africa’s top league  outfit Cape Town City FC have roped in Ugandan attacking midfielder Allan Kateregga on three and a half year deal.

Allan, nicknamed “dancing Rasta” was a free agent after seeing through his loan deal at Ugandan champions KCCA from Kenyan Premier League side AFC Leopards.

“CTCFC is delighted to announce the signing of Ugandan international winger Allan Kateregga,” the Cape Town City based club tweeted.

The 23-year-old famed for his dazzling skills on the ball and eye for goal is expected to add more attacking flair in the coach Benni McCarthy’s side in their quest for maiden PSL title.

He will also be expected to play a major role for the “Blue and Gold” in the CAF Confederations Cup campaign.

“Kateregga gives us some more ammo in attack, while also bringing a wealth of experience in Africa ahead of our opening CAF Confederations Cup campaign.”

Allan burst into limelight while plying his trade with Kenya’s side division side Ushuru FC.

His sleek passing and tantalizing dribbling skills left many clubs salivating for his signature but it was AFC Leopards who landed him in 2016.

After a season and a half at the den he moved to KCCA on loan for the remainder of his contract.

While at the Kampala based side, Allan earned is maiden national team call up and was part of the Uganda Cranes side that finished fourth in the 2017 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup in Kenya.
