CECAFA 2015 – South Sudan shock Malawi 2-0 to reach maiden quarterfinals.

Surprise package South Sudan produced yet another group “C” shocker – beating high ridding Malawi 2-0 at Bahir Dar, Ethiopia to reach the quarterfinals of the CECAFA Senior Challange for the first time in their young history.

South Sudan takes charge of the group with seven points one clear of Malawi with both sides sailing to the last eight.

James Moga struck early in the eighth minute to send the match into the breather in their favor. Bruno Martinez grabbed his second goal of the tournament with the second goal of the day in the added minutes of the second half.
