CECAFA KAGAME CUP-2015: Mighty K’Ogalo march on past Djibouti Telecom

By Bonface Osano,

The giants from Kenya thumped the Djibouti side 3-1 to confirm a spot in the last eight in a dominant fashion. They top group A with ten points pending the last match of the group between Yanga SC and Al Khartoum.

George “Blackberry” Odhiambo powered past Telecom keeper from a beautiful solo run to open scoring in the 13th minute. K’Ogalo were not done yet and in the 28th minute red hot Michael Olunga doubled the lead tapping in Ronald Omino’s low cross from the right to push his tally to four goals in the tournament, the highest so far.

Telecom returned for the second half more purposeful making dangerous runs on the break and into 73rd minute Said Elmi pulled one back, heading home past Gor keeper Jerim Onyango.

Just when they (Telecom) were starting to get into the game, Enock Agwanda fired a powerful shot past the keeper from a rebound to kill the game.
