Cecafa Senior Challenge moved from Bahir Dar to Addis Ababa

This year’s Cecafa Senior Challenge has been moved from Bahir Dar to Addis Ababa.

Secretary General Nicholas Musonye told Soka25east.com  that the tournament had been moved to the Ethiopian capital to enable easier handling of logistics.

He stated that all members of Cecafa have confirmed they will participate in the 2015 tournament after the 2014 edition lacked a host and further revealed that by all members attending, there will be no guest team invited.

“The tournament has been moved from Bahar Dar to Addis Ababa and this is due to logistical reasons. All is in place for a good tournament because we have also received confirmation from all our members.

“Unlike in the previous years, this year, with all the members confirming participation, we will not be inviting guest teams. Last time we had Zambia as the only guest team but this time, barring any late withdrawals, we will have only members participating,” he said.

The tournament is scheduled to run from November 21 to December 6.
