Kenya’s Harambee Starlets, the group “B” winners will lock horns with Ethiopia’s Lucy, the group “A” runner up in the semi-finals of the ongoing CECAFA Women’s Championship in Jinja,Uganda.

In the other semi final, hosts Uganda’s Crested Cranes will host Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro Queens which won a toss to finish top of group “B”.

The match for the last semis slot between Ethiopia and Tanzania at the FUFA Technical Grounds, Njeru, on Friday failed to produce a winner, and since the two opponents were tied on all fronts heading into the match, the group winner had to be decided by a toss of a coin with Kili Queens emerging the more lucky.

The teams will rest on Saturday before the semi-finals on Sunday, with the final being staged on Tuesday.
