Nkana football club head coach Beston Chambeshi was left disappointed after his team’s second loss in a row. Chambeshi who is also Zambia U20 national team head coach wants his team to improve and quickly return to winning ways.

” It is not a good thing for a team like Nkana to go two games without a win. We have to improve on that,” Chambeshi said

Chambeshi has hinted on new signings especially in defence to stabilize his squad. The second Zambian transfer season will open in less than 2 weeks on1st July.

” Yes we will need one players, If you have seen our defence. We need to find atleast one or two defenders who will come and stabilize our defenvery,” he said

Nkwazi beat Nkana 2-1 at Edwin Emboela Stadium. Edward Mwamba opened the scoring in the 4th minute before Walter Bwalya could equalise in the 38th minute . Justin Shonga headed home the winner the 50th minute .

Nkana have now failed to pick up maximum points in their last four matches and will face a fellow inconsistent side in Buidcon FC this weekend.
