Ngezi Platinum demolished FC Platinum 3-1 to emerge 2016 Chibuku Super Cup Champions at Baobab Stadium on Saturday 5 November 2016.

FC Platinum will have to blame themselves after squandering many scoring opportunities with Gerald Takawa being the main victim.

Takwara and Moyo were impressive in the first half, but Ngezi Platinum custodian  denied them an opener.

Liberty Chakaroma surprised the FC Platinum with an early goal in the tenth minute firing from outside the box.

Tonderai Ndiraya’s boys launched a rapid counter-attack, but Sokosi failed to make good use of Mhari’s blunder, fluffing his shot missing an equalizer.

Kelvin Bulaji doubled the lead in the 26th minute chipping a rebound past advancing keeper Petros Mhari.

The two goals really motivated Ngezi Platinum as they took control of the possession.

Gerald Takwara put one back with a screaming shot from way outside the box with five minutes to the break for a consolation goal.

In the 87th minute, Liberty Chakoroma sealed the emphatic win with wonderful strike for a brace with Ngezi Platinum earning tocket to represent Zimbabwe at next year CAF Confederstions Cup.
