Swaziland beat Zambia 4-2 on post match penalties to set a date with South Africa in the semi final of the ongoing COSAFA Castle championships in Namibia.

The match that was played at the Sam Nujoma stadium in Windhoek ended goalless after 90 minutes. This is the second year in a row that the four time COSAFA champions are bidding the tournament bye at the quarter final levels through penalties.

Swaziland could have taken the lead in the first half but Sabelo Ndzinisa and Felix Badenhorst wasted a lot of chances but Zambian keeper Danny Munyao was equal to the task.

Badenhorst who is being trailed by South African giants Kaizer chiefs had his goal disallowed in a call that was marred by controversy

Lusaka Dynamos play maker Condlyde Luchanga almost came close to putting the Chipolopolo ahead but his efforts were futile.

At the end the winner had to be decided on spot kicks

Swaziland had Sihlangu Semnitkati miss his opening spot kick but the hero was the Swazi keeper Sandie Ginindza who saved two penalties before scoring the winner to the disappointment of the travelling Zambian fans who flocked the Sam Nujoma stadium.
