Botswana referee Joshua Bondo at the centre of the match involving Zimbabwe and Madagascar in the second match of group B of the on going Cosafa tournament in South Africa, has been sent parking.

Bondo infuriated the Zimbabwe technical bench after denying the Warriors two genuine penalties in the 84th and 86th minute. This led to a threat to protest by the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA).

And yesterday Zifa made good on their threat by officially lodging in a protest letter. COSAFA acted promptly and decide that Bondo will take no further part in the on going tournament.

Group B matches at the centre of controversy continue this afternoon with Zimbabwe taking on Seychelles while Mozambique with lock horns with Madagascar.

Zimbabwe the table leaders, Madagascar and Mozambique all have a chance to progress to the next round.
