Kenya came from behind to beat Madagascar 2-1 in Group B of 2016 Cosafa U-17 Championship on Sunday.

Kenneth Mukuria was Kenya’s hero as he scored in the 25th minute and 41st minute to keep the young stars hopes of reaching the semifinals alive.

Madagascar took the lead in the 20 th minute through a penalty that was well taken by Fabrizo Mosa.

But Kenneth Mukuria levelled through a good work from the left with goalkeeper well beaten to bring back the youngsters into the game.

A foul commited by Madagascar late in first half completed a remarkable turnaround for a Kenya side that had been less than an hour away from suffering their second match of the tournament.

The second half saw nothing much to threaten Harambee Stars side lead with Mukuria being sustituted with Kenya hanging to their victory keeping their hopes alive.
