Cameroon MTN Elite One champions, Coton Sport of Garoua have been eliminated from the race to the finals of the 2018 Cameroon Cup.

The Garoua base team was send parking by Eding Sport of Lekie in Yaounde on Sunday August 26 on a score of 2-1.

Played at the CENAJES stadium in Bertoua, Coton Sport lone goal was scored through Daouda Kamilou from the penalty spot.

After attempting to boycott the quarter final match, Union of Douala had a difficult time at the Obala Municipal stadium as the suffered a 0-1 defeat from Panthere FC of Nde. The only goal of the day was scored at the extra time.

Elite two team, Renaissiance FC of Ngoumou also registered a similar score over Unisport of Upper Nkam while Lion Blesse beat Tonnerre Kalara Club by 2-0.

With semifinals to be programme in the days ahead, the finals will of the Cup of Cameroon will officially closed the sporting season in Cameroon.
