By Ashenafi Debebe,
Ethiopian Premier league defending champions Dedebit were knocked out of the ongoing Orange Caf Champions league when they succumbed to a 2-0 loss against SC Sfaxien in Tunis on Sunday thereby losing by a 1-4 aggregate.
Dedebit who looked promising when they lost 1-2 to the side a week ago at the National Stadium,Addis Ababa found the going rough in Tunisia as they were give no breathing space as the Tunisians fired from all cylinders.
CS Sfaxien scored a goal in each half to deny Dedebit who knocked out KMKM of Zanzibar to set up the mouth watering clash that the Tunisians emerged victorious.
Dedebit will now seek to consolidate their position in the Ethiopian premier league after being knocked out of the prestigious Caf tournament.
