Week five of the Tanzanian top tier,the Vodacom premier league will see giants Azam and Simba clash today at the Uhuru stadium just adjacent to the National stadium.oth teams have 10 points and the match is expected to be hotly contested

 

At The CCM Kambarage Stadium in Shinyanga,hosts Mwadui will entertain defending champions Yanga .Mwadui will hope to get maximum points after their 2-2 derby draw with stand United while Yanga who beat Majimaji 3-0 in the last fixture will want to catch up with run away leaders Azam and Simba .Yanga will once again miss the services of Togolese defender Vincent Bossou who missed their 0-0 draw with Stand and their 3-0 win over Majimaji.

Coach Hans Pluijm  has named his line up for the clash  starting with Andrew Vincent and Kelvin Yondani. The Yanga line up is as follows

Ally Mustafa ‘Barthez’,  Juma Abdul, Mwinyi Hajji, Andrew Vicent, Kevin Yondan, Mbuyu Twite, Simon Msuva, Thabani Kamussoko, Amissi Tambwe, Donald Ngoma and  Deus Kaseke.
Captain Nadir Haroub ‘Cannavaro’ will start from the bench alonside   Juma Mahadhi, Deo Munishi ‘Dida’, Oscar Joshua, Haruna Niyonzima, Obrey Chirwa and  Yussuf Mhilu.

The other fixture today will be played at the Manungu stadium in Morogoro where the sugar belt derby match is expected to draw attention.The match  between  Mtibwa Sugar and Kagera Sugar has always been contested.Mtibwa lost their last last match against  Simba while Kagera were held to a goalless draw by Ndanda.

 

Another interesting fixture will be at the Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya where Mbeya City will lock horns with City rivals Tanzania Prisons in what is referred to as the Mbeya Cit derby.

 

On sunday ,Mabatini stadium in Mlandizi will play host to a league match between home side Ruvu Shooting against debutantes Mbao FC from Mwanza.

 

On monday Stand United will welcome JKT Ruvu at their Kamabarage Stadium in Shinyanga .

However there is a slight change in the fixtures with the match between African Lyon and visiting Toto Africans that was to be played on sunday now finding a new date  September 20th Tuesday at the Uhuru stadium.
