Wydad Casablanca manager Sebastian Desabre revealed to sofoot.com that he was so close to seal a deal with the Football Association of Zambia for the Chipolopolo coaching role.
However, the negotiations stalled hence being contracted by JS Saoutra in Algeria.
“I was so close to manage Zambia national team, negotiations stalled
and I went to Soutra”, He told sofoot.com.
Desabre helped Sewe Sports reach the final of 2013 CAF Confederation Cup against Al Ahly. He was shortlisted and invited for interviews by the Football Association of Zambia in Lusaka.
