Destination Guide guide takes us to Ekaterinburg Arena or the Central Stadium which is a multipurpose stadium located in the city of Yekaterinburg, Russia.

The stadium has a sitting capacity of 35,000 people and will be reduced to 23,000 after the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

It has a field size of 105 by 68 metres and was built in 1957.

The Ekaterinburg Arena has been renovated twice, 2006-2011 and 2014-2017 and has hosted international matches involving the Russia U-21.

The stadium is expected to host 4 matches at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Two African Nations of Egypt and Senegal will play at this Magnificent arena.

The Egyptians play Uruguay on 15 June while Senegal lock horns with Japan on 24 June 2018.
