Econet Group’s pay television service, Kwese TV are keen on Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League TV rights,according to Bulawayo News.

The Harare based portal has reported that Kwese are putting necessary measures for a landmark development that could transform the face of Zimbabwean football.

Kwese are said to be keenly watching the unfolding events between SuperSport and Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League where it is beleived that Multi Choice are not intrested in renewing the five year sponsorship deal that will end this season.

On Monday a respected journalist in Zimbabwe,Mduzuzi Mathuthu in a separate interview hinted that Kwese they may jump to the opportunity and take up the broadcast rights of Zimbambwe’s top tier to strengthen their remarkable programming in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Kwesé’s broadcast rights include live matches, delayed matches, highlights and on-demand programming, as well as localised review programs to UEFA fans across Africa.

The company recently went into an agreement with UEFA to broadcast the Euro 2020, as well as the preceding qualifiers, in all Sub-Saharan African countries, excluding South Africa.
