Ahead of what is billed as the match of the day tomorrow (Saturday) in the Azam Uganda premier league between Proline FC and URA FC, the former will enter the battle field all smiles after team doctor Solomon Ndawula passed goal poacher Edriisa “Torres” fit to face the tax collectors.

Lubega last season’s FUFA Big League (league after AUPL) leading scorer is yet to find the back of the net this season and missed Proline’s previous match against SC Villa in which they lost 3-0 due to an ankle injury.

He has been running on the side pitch since the team resumed training after the Villa match until today when he had touches on the ball and later passed fit.

The news give club head coach Mujib Kasule more attacking options at the right time as they target their first win this season.

Lubega a product of the Masaza cup (annual Buganda Kingdom Football tournament) with Ssingo is part of the 30-man squad Uganda Cranes’ head coach Micho Sredojovic summoned ahead of the Togo friendly match on 4th October in Lome and October 7 World Cup qualifier match against Ghana in Tamale.
