Egypt beat Malawi 2-1 in an international friendly played today at in Egypt.
Egypt were the first to show early intent of scoring with crisp passes and interplay showing early Intentions.
Their resilience paid off when Ahmed Hassan scored with just 19 minutes of the match played.The scoreline remained at 1-0 in favour of the hosts.
On resumption Mohammed El Gama scored the second for the Pharoahs in the 47th minute to a 2-0 lead.
Malawi fought hard and were rewarded in the 64th minute when Atusaye Nyondo scored the consolation.
The match ended 2-1 in favour of the hosts.
Egypt next meet Tanzania in the AFCON 2015 qualifier while the Flames welcome Zimbabwe in Blantye.
