Kolkheti Poti defender Eric Ouma has been named in Harambee Stars squad for upcoming friendly matches aganist Iraq and Thailand.
Also in the team released by coach Stanely Okumbi,is last season KPL Most Valuable Player Kenneth Muguna of Gor Mahia.Other players in the team include Zambia based quartet of David Owino,Jesse Were,John Makwatta and Clifton Miheso.
Notable omissions from the team are team captain Victor Wanyama,Ayub Timbe and Brian Mandela who are out injured,while Belgium based Johanna Omollo misses out due to club commitmnets while David Ochieng will not make it for the trip due to issues with his travel documents.
Boniface Muchiri of Tusker has been retained alongside Simon Mbugua of Posta Rangers.Stephen Waruru of Ulinzi Stars also makes a return to the side as well as Robinson Kamura of AFC Leopards.
The team of 29 players will report into the camp on October 1,2017 at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies before departure on October 2 for the friendlies slated for October 5th and 8th respectively.
