Contract negotiations between Ugandan international Erisa Ssekisumba and Gor Mahia of Kenya have collapsed.

The two parties have been in talks since Wednesday morning but could not reach a common ground over the player’s personal terms.

The former Vipers SC player has been in the country for the past few days to complete the move to the Kenyan champions and was yesterday joined by his agent.

“It’s true we have been in talks with Gor Mahia, but I think Erisa will be signing for another club,” the agent said.

The 22-year-old is said to be a top target of an Egyptian Premier League club, who could be offering a better deal.

Gor are seeking to bolster their forward line following the unexpected departure of striker Meddie Kagere, who joined Simba SC of Tanzania.
