Ethiopia has named a 29-man squad for Uganda friendly on 3rd June in Addis Ababa and the 2019 African Cup Nations qualifier away to Ghana days later.

Asenafi Bekele, the newly appointed coach of the national team “Walia Ibex” has called up mostly home-based professionals for the two crucial assignments, as he begins his reign.

Egypt-based duo of Shemeles Bekele and Oumed Okuri are the only foreign-based players summoned in the provisional team.
