Ethiopia Walia Ibex coach Sahle furious with hostile conditions in Burundi

Ethiopia Walia Ibex coach Yohannes Sahle is not happy with the conditions his side was forced to play in Burundi where his charges lost 2-0  to the hosts in a CHAN 2016 qualifier.

Sahle speaking to Soka25east.com described the situation as hostile and not condusive for football as soldiers with machine guns and rockers launchers surrounded the team at the stadium after recent political violence that rocked the nation.

“That how we played football last week in Burundi  look at the solders on the field with machin guns and rockets” a rather unhappy Sahle confirmed in photos that Soka25east.com was in possession of.

The calls comes hot in the heels of CAF who gave the country a clean bill of health to host home matches despite the fragile situation.
