Ethiopia’s Walia Ibex finally arrived in Brazil after a long 18 hour flight from Addis Ababa ,Ethiopia ahead of a crucial two weeks training camp in Brasilia.
The trip to Brazil was organised by Portuguese players and coaches agent Mr.Mario Texeira under his company Granada Eventos where he covered all costs of the Ethiopian national team except for flights catered for by the Ethiopian football federation.

Mr .Mario Texeira speaking to Soka25east.com said he was happy the trip had gone according to plan and the rest of the players will be arriving in Brazil on Saturday.
“It has taken alot of effort to organise the friendlies for Ethiopia in conjuction with the federation i have cartered for all the expenses while the federation will only pay for the tickets to and from Addis Ababa this i have done through my company Granada Eventos to help Ethiopia under their new coach Mariano Barreto to meet their objective of once again qualifying for the 2015 Afcon in Morrocco”
Ethiopia will play five friendly matches with local sides that include AC Anapolina to be played at the 15,000 seater Jonas Duarte stadium .The other matches include Club Do Remo at the Arena Baenao ,Gama at the 20,000 seater Bezerrao Stadium,against Brasiliense at the Boca do Jacare stadium and the last friendly will be against Itubiara at the 30,000 seater JK stadium.
Mr. Mário Teixeira is a Portuguese players and coaches agent with 15 years’ experience working in football. His company is Granada Eventos, who have organized more than 250 football events around the world the last one of which involved taking Italian Seria A team Hellas Verona to make a stage in Brazil. in stadium JK 30,000 persons capacity
While in Brazil the National Team will stay in the Hotel San Peter a four stars hotel in the city of Brasilia capital of Brazil. They will be training in training center of the club Brasiliense one of the training centers that was used for National team of Brazil during the World Cup. The team arrived on the 6th Augusts and depart on back to Ethiopia on the 23rd of August.
